Simple Tacos

Yep, tacos.  I figured I should have a "baseline" for what and the heck to do with all this awesome seasoning stuff. And since I am telling the world that it is Taco Seasoning, let’s have a Taco recipe.  You will make this once, then you will make it forever!  4EVA!! Super simple. Super versatile. Super tasty. Enjoy!

You’ll need:

1 pound ground meat (I am using ground chicken in this recipe)

1 packet (3 Tablespoons) Bard & Bellom taco seasoning

Flour or Corn Tortillas

Oil (not motor)

Toppings. Decorate your tacos however you like! Go for things like:

  • Shredded Lettuce

  • Diced Tomatoes

  • Shredded Cheese

  • Lime Wedges

  • Chopped Green Onions

  • Chopped Cilantro

  • Sour Cream

  • Hot Sauce

The world is your oyster!

Preparation:

  1. Get a medium sized sauté pan and heat it up.

  2. Add some oil.

  3. Add your ground chicken.

  4. Add the seasoning directly to the stuff in the pan.

  5. Mix with a spatula and fully cook.

  6. Toss cooked meat into a bowl and cover.

  7. Quickly wipe out the pan with a paper towel and use it to warm your tortillas.

  8. Then do what you want to top them!

  • Forget the meat altogether and get crazy with all sorts of filling: canned beans, tofu, tempeh or any meat substitute, really.
